On foot along the cycling path through the Brembana Valley

Starting from San Pellegrino Terme, an outstanding jewel of Modern Art, a comfortable path follows the old railway line along which, until the 60ies, a train linked Bergamo with the Brembana Valley, to which some picturesque stations still bear testimony.

All along you see and hear the romantic Brembo river which, in San Pellegrino, is crossed by various old and new bridges. With the peaks of the Orobic Alps before your eyes you may continue for another 3 km from S. Giovanni Bianco to Cornello del Tasso, once an important merchandise transfer place on the historic trading route Via Mercatorum and still today a splendid example of medieval architecture.

A place of refreshment is guaranteed and if you are tired you may return by bus from S. G. Bianco.
